A vintage Rose Canton bowl, hand painted in the famille rose palette that makes this style so collectible. Pink peonies, blue blossoms, and trailing green vines wrap the entire piece, with a butterfly tucked among the florals and a gilded rim that catches the light.
Rose Canton is the all over floral cousin of Rose Medallion, prized for its dense, painterly gardens with no two pieces decorated quite alike. This one has wonderful color and presence for its size.
Each bowl is custom poured to order in the signature fragrance you choose. When the candle has burned, the bowl cleans out easily and begins its second life as a catchall, or a little still life on a stack of books.
Lovely vintage condition with light age appropriate wear.
